Patents: A patent is when you develop a new technology or improve well known products or processes. It is granted to you by the government. It gives you the right to exclude others from making using or selling your invention.

Industrial Designs: It is when you produce a new distinctive-looking products, it is the visual figures, shapes, configuration, pattern, ornament or any combinations of these features.

Trademarks: It is a combination of letters, words, sounds, or designs that distinguishes the company’s goods or services from those of others in the market place.

Copyright: It is when you produce original literary, dramatic, musical or artistic work. In general, a copyright is a sole right to produce or reproduce a work or a substantial part of it in any form.

Trade Secrets: It includes any valuable business information that derives its value from the secrecy. Trade secrets can be very valuable to you whether you have developed new technology, designed original products, created the perfect recipe, or have a gold mine of customer data.
